These hands on sessions will give you and your dog the opportunity to try new skills or just have some fun. Depending on the workshop topic, these can run from 1hr or up to full days.
We currently offer the following workshops:
Capsule Courses - CURRENTLY ON HOLD
Sometimes you want a little help focusing on specific skills or just want to refresh on something you have been working on with your dog. In the near future, we will be offering capsule courses, where we specialise on a skill for up to 4 weeks. Topics include Recall, Focus & Attention, Door Manners, Co-operative Care and more.

Courses & CLASSES - TAKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Happy Snappy Recall
This 4 week condensed mini course is designed to help you and your dog work towards a reliable recall, wherever you are, whatever distractions there may be. Coming when called is an important skill for dogs to have, and it’s a priceless safety skill. The more reliable the recall, the more freedom your dog will be able to have, visiting off leash parks, beaches and more.
This introductory course will go through basic principals of training and proofing a recall, how to deal with distractions, what mistakes to avoid and how to continue improving it after the course has finished. This course includes a handout of information and things to work on prior to first class, and supportive notes for each week.
No prior experience in training is needed and this course is suitable for dogs of all ages. It’s never too late to create a reliable recall. Dogs of any age can attend, but this course wouldn’t be suitable for dogs that are reactive towards dogs (barking, lunging, growling). Those with mild initial excitement would be fine. If you are unsure, please contact us.

Mini Manners Casual Classes
These 1hr casual classes work on different life skills and manners with your dog, to help you not only live together happily, but give you the confidence to go to more places together.
Skills vary each class, with either a pre-set selection of skills for the night or a choose your own session to build your existing skills to a higher level. With our support, these classes help you practise real life skills with your dog and give you the opportunity to work around distractions and in different environments. Some sessions will also be set in public areas like parks, beaches, cafes etc.
These are most suited to current clients or dogs with some focus skills. Dogs who are reactive (barking, lunging, growling) are not suitable, but you are welcome to attend without them to watch the exercises and take them home to work on with your dog. Those with mild initial excitement would be fine. If you are unsure, please contact us.
